Bright, refreshing, and full of zing, this Apple Carrot Ginger Juice combines sweet apples, earthy carrots, and a kick of fresh ginger with a touch of lemon for a nourishing start to your day or a revitalizing snack.

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and peel carrots, core the apple, peel and deseed the lemon, and peel the ginger.
  2. 2. Place apple, carrots, ginger, lemon, and water in a blender. Add optional cayenne or mint if desired.
  3. 3. Blend on high speed until smooth and fully incorporated.
  4. 4. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth if a smoother juice is preferred. 5. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

* Use fresh, organic produce when possible. * For a sweeter juice, add 1 tsp honey or maple syrup. * Adjust water to desired consistency. * Best enjoyed fresh; can be refrigerated up to 24 hours.
