Gelatin Protein Coffee

Description

This warm, creamy coffee drink combines the smooth richness of milk with the unique body of gelatin for a comforting beverage with a lightly thickened texture. Subtly sweetened and infused with vanilla, it creates a café-style experience at home with minimal ingredients and simple preparation.

Instructions

  1. 1. Pour milk into a small saucepan and sprinkle gelatin over the top. Whisk and let sit for 3–4 minutes to bloom.
  2. 2. Place the saucepan over medium heat, whisking continuously until the gelatin is fully dissolved and the mixture is hot but not boiling.
  3. 3. Remove from heat and stir in honey and vanilla extract.
  4. 4. Pour brewed coffee into a mug.
  5. 5. Add the warm gelatin milk mixture to the coffee and stir to combine.
  6. 6. Garnish with cinnamon or cocoa powder, if desired.

Note


* Substitute honey with maple syrup, granulated sugar, or brown sugar as preferred * For a non-coffee version, prepare using milk only without adding brewed coffee
