  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, olive oil, garlic, and black pepper.
  3. Place chicken on one side of the sheet pan and vegetables on the other. Brush the teriyaki mixture over the chicken and lightly drizzle or toss over the vegetables.
  4. Roast for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and the vegetables are tender.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds or sliced green onions if desired and serve warm.
